This unique collectible is for the Atari Lynx hand held system. It was released by Songbird Productions for the Classics Gaming Event held in Las Vegas 2002. However, it’s not an actual game.
The Atari Lynx Classic Gaming Expo 5th (CGE 5th) is a commemorative piece highlighting years of the Classic Gaming Expo – starting with the 1998 World of Atari show through the Classic Gaming Expo in 2001, five years worth of events, hence the “5th” part of the label.
It contains 16 color photos that are displayed in a slide show with music.
Only 60 of these were produced. This is number 11.
Because of the low production number, the CGE 5th is highly sought after among the Atari Lynx collectors and is often exceptionally difficult to obtain.
It is unknown how many of the 60 produced actually remain in existence.
