Araceli has been around videogames her whole life: Before she could pick up a controller, she watched her siblings and dad play all sorts of Playstation games - from Crash Bandicoot to Resistance: Fall of Man. When she was finally old enough, she played through the first few worlds of Spyro the Dragon countless times - of course, her system didn’t have a save function at the time, so she always had to start from the beginning. She used to go to Gamestop with her sister just to play all of the demos, and spent hours after school pouring over GameInformer instead of doing homework. Her favorite game is Fable 2, even though she’s never finished it. The game she plays most often is probably League of Legends, which is of course an incredible source of shame.

She's been working at Phoenix Games since Oct 2026, and her favorite part about working here is how welcoming everyone has been. She currently manages the Phoenix Games website. She keeps her 3DS in her bag at all times during her shift in the hopes of getting a Streetpass.

In her free time, Araceli also streams games online. She’s currently working through the entirety of the Resident Evil franchise, starting from RE1. Her hot take is that the Milla Jovovich Resident Evil movies are good, actually. (Yes, she really believes this.)

Outside of gaming, Araceli does all manner of other nerdy hobbies, like playing TTRPGs and LARPing. She likes designing and making her own costumes, and spends every weekend practicing boffer fighting.
